Alva V. Bear was born and raised here and still lives here, to this very day.
His father, a craftsman of immeasuareable skill, built it just after he married
Alva's mother, Fern. At first there was only one cabin, but Alva's father had
hopes of being a land baron and built the other two cabins to rent to the folks
of Barely There. Hideaway Glen is too far from Tattertown and nobody wanted
to move in. The other cabins remained deserted for years and years until first
Opal and then Barbara moved in. Behind the cabin is the prickly patch wherein
the bumbleberries grow. It would not be wise to go sneakin' around the prickly
patch trying to fetch yourself a berry or two... old Alva's always watching!
