The only lake in all of Barely There. Nestled at the base of Morning Side Mountain, it is protected from the winds that blow down from the craggy peaks of the Mountains of Kota Kazoo. Normally it is so still that in the dim light of early morning and late afternoon it is as smooth as glass and looks like a mirror reflecting the beauty of the crystal clear skies.
Summer Island sits in the middle
of the lake. Though it was once a charming resort, it is now deserted. In the
spring and fall the island is home to thousands of beautiful butterflies.
